If someone would have asked me how I thought this past year would turn out, I honestly don’t know what I would have said, I had no expectations what so ever! I mean this was my first year in business so I knew it would be a slow one, or so I thought!! This last year has turned out to surpass ANYTHING I could have ever imagined, not only was I blessed with loads of sessions, I was blessed with wonderful clients who are so sweet, heartwarming and just all around wonderful people!! I find myself sitting here smiling, thinking back on all the sessions I’ve had and all the funny outtakes, I find myself giggling at memories of silly faces, jump shots, mosquito bites and sibling fights, oh and we cannot forget the ”awkward poses”! I have a memory for each session that truly stands out to me and I know that I will cherish every single one of those memories for all my days! I want to thank each and every one of my clients for being such huge blessings in my life and for trusting in me to capture some wonderful memories for them! I also want to thank my family, for all of their love and support through everything! I love you all and pray that God continues Blessing you! I also pray for a Safe and Happy New Year!! “See” Y’all in 2010!!!!

So I’ve had a few requests for how I make my homemade donuts and while I must admit, I am no Pioneer Woman, I can say that sometimes I can hold my own! I tend to find simple things to make though, if they get to complicated I give up on them! So with that said, here is how I make my simple homemade donuts!!
First, I start with Grands Flaky Biscuits, some milk and powdered sugar!
I take the powdered sugar and milk and I mix it into a thick almost paste like substance!
Then I take the biscuits, each biscuit I cut into two, I then make a hole in the middle with my finger, for the donut look! lol Then I fry them in some Veggie oil.
After they cool a little bit, I dip them in the substance, sprinkle some powdered sugar on the top and viola!
And there y’all have it, a simple and fast way to make homemade donuts!! And around this house, they are a HUGE hit!!
Now go and try it and then comment on here, if you would like and let me know how it turns out!!

And time for this little photographer to take a break!! As of now, Leia Reeves Photography is closed until January 4th, 2010!! I want to thank all of my fabulous clients for such an AMAZING 2009 and for being so gorgeous and fun and just all around huge blessings in my life! Also, another thank you to my wonderful family, thank y’all from the bottom of my heart for all the support, love and encouragement over this past year!! I’m excited to see what the new year will bring for all of us!!
and with all that said,
Merry Christmas and God Bless!!
See y’all in 2010!!!

Oh how I love the holidays! All the love, joy, family and presents! Yep, love this time of year!! Here, around the Reeves Household, tree is decorated, stockings are hung and kids are super excited, everything is ready for Santa’s big arrival! I find myself super excited from the pure joy I am seeing in my children’s eyes, I, too, am finding myself feeling like a kid again! I just cannot wait to see the looks on their little faces when they wake up Christmas morning to find full stockings and presents under the tree from the Jolly man himself , oh and few from mommy & daddy and each other!! Anyway, to all of y’all, I am praying for a fun, safe and wonderfully blessed Holiday Season with the ones you love the most!! Thank ya’ll for being such a huge part of my life and for making my job so easy to do!! So with that said, God Bless and Merry Christmas!!
