You know, I thought this day would never come…… no wait, let me rephrase, I hoped this day would never come, for both my children, but alas for some odd reason it comes without being stopped, it’s the day when bebes turn 3. Now 3, to me, is an important and emotional age and by that I mean, it’s important for them because they must grow up, emotional for me because I want them to stay bebes forever! But since I cannot get my way, the time comes when we must celebrate another wonderfully blessed year that has flown by way to quickly! This June, we celebrated my son Dustin’s 3rd birthday, it was the funnest birthday to date because this year he sang “happy birfday” to himself, blew out his own candles and even opened his own presents, all the while saying to me ” I dude it mommy, I big boy now, I dude it by myself”! I was and am so stinkin’ proud of him, he is growing into such a great little guy, so much personality, so much spunk and drive to be his own person and so much determination to learn and do things by himself!! For example, I love watching him fish, he has taught himself how to cast his fishing pole and he won’t let anyone show him different, he thinks his way is the way to go and well who can argue with him, he does a fine job at making it in the water! 
( The one thing I can think to say at this point about him is that even though he looks like me, he acts like his daddy!!) A little brag I have is that He knows all of his colors and can count to 20 without any help from anyone which is thanks to his teacher/sissy! Everyday when she got home from school, she would proceed to “school” Bubba on everything she learned that day and the boy knows a bunch of stuff now because of it! Like one example, he will tell you that M-m-mommy starts with M and D-d-daddy starts with D, oh and that Ch-Ch-Cheyenne starts with Shhh! (laughed out loud didn’t you?!!! So did I when he first told me!) Anyway, I could go on and on and brag all night about that little guy but emotions are setting in once again and I cannot hang with my own thoughts right now!! My bebe boy is 3 and well not so much of a bebe any more, he is a big boy…. someone hug me please. :-(
So even though it is belated, Happy Birthday to one of my biggest blessings from God himself!! I love you Dustin Wyatt, happy birthday little man!!
