Hey Ya'll!

  Welcome to my blog! I'm Leia, I'm first and foremost a proud and dedicated "Coastie" wife to my husband of 6 years and SAHMommy to our 2 wonderful children. I'm also, of course, a professional photographer, living out my dream in life by doing what I love and calling it my "job"!

  This blog is the place where I will be sharing my current photography including session sneak peeks and even some current events that are happening with me personally. Let me tell you a little bit about my style which actually happens to be a little bit of everything! First off, I love to capture those natural fun candid moments, you know the ones where when you see them they just light up your face because the persons personality was captured perfectly! However, I also love the posed shots, they can tell a story as well and can have just as much meaning! So I guess I should say it's kind of a toss up between the two. I have a personal portable studio for those traditional shoots but I do prefer outdoors and natural light when available! Let me see, I do everything from newborns to weddings and also boudoir! I am so blessed and honored to be participating in a very special organization called “Operation: Love ReUnited” Being a Coastie/Military wife myself, this organization is very near and dear to my heart, I am so very proud of what the military does for our country each and every day and I love the feeling of giving back to my fellow military families the best way I know how which is by capturing their most precious moments through the camera lens, and along with the help of a wonderful thing called OpLove, I am able to do so plus a little more, which is just awesome!! Yesterday I had the great privilege to shoot my very first OpLove Session with a WONDERFUL little Family!! I think other than the dreaded Texas Heat and Humidity, it was an all out great session!! They were so much fun and I don’t think we ever stopped laughing through the whole thing! So thank you so much “B” Family for trusting in me to capture such precious memories for you guys and I pray that this deployment flies by for you!

“T” Sneak Peek {Galveston County Couples Photographer}

Had the awesome privilege to shoot my cousin and her new hubster as well, at the Reunion! I had a blast capturing such young new love, you know the kind, where you have to yell at them to STOP making out during a kissy shot Or on the plus side, just sit back, wait and then snap away when they think no one is looking, capturing how they interact with each other in such sweet, romantic, lovey dovey ways! It’s nice to shoot people like this and realize how truly blessed I am that me and my husband of 6yrs, having been together for 9yrs, are still like that, we still have that fun young love and it’s so great! I find myself sitting here with flutterbies in my tummy and a big smile on my face thinking about it all over again!! I love Young Love!

Everyone please meet my cousin and her hubby!! We had a family reunion at my mom’s this past weekend and I have the privilege of taking pictures of everyone! My first session of the day were these too and we had a blast!! I loved taking pictures of them, they were so fun and easy going!

“A” Sneak Peek {Galveston County Family Photographer}

Oh what a blessing it was to see my friends again! Meet the Alsup Family(minus the dad), out of  Slidell, La. They lived on the same street with me and my husband and we were all great friends, I mean we still are, just further apart than we would like! ;) While on my way to Tennessee to meet all my Phaunts, I stopped through and stayed the night with them and was tickled pink to get to take pictures for them while I was there!! Here are a few from our little session! Sorry it took me so long to get these up Dena but I hope you like them! Love you guys and miss ya’ll tons already!

Totally and utterly blessed with this crazy beautiful life of mine! I thank God everyday for what I have and I couldn’t ask for more! Here is a quick snap shot of my little family from a few weeks ago! I realized that most of ya’ll have never seen the hubster, so here he is too!! I love this shot because it says “Us”, it’s not perfect but at the same time it so is!

Oh my goodness, if my hands weren’t full with the two I have now, baby fever would be slapping me hard upside the head!! Meet Miss Kate! This precious little princess stole my heart from the minute I walked in the door! She was perfect in every way, from her tiny little fingers to her tiny little toes!! She even slept the whole time for me, only giving little arguments when one of us would move her for another shot! At only a little over a week old, she was a pro at the photo taking!What a great and fun experience I had!Olivia, here is ya’lls sneak peek hun! I really hope you enjoy!
